On November 1, the Tateishi Station North District Urban Redevelopment Association, together with its participating members — Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd., Asahi Kasei Homes Corp., and the Metropolitan Fireproof Building Public Corporation — began construction on the Tateishi Station North District Type-1 Urban Redevelopment Project in Katsushika Ward, Tokyo.
The redevelopment area covers approximately 2.2 hectares and will be developed in coordination with the Keisei Oshiage Line’s continuous grade separation project. The plan includes a new station plaza at the north exit of Keisei Tateishi Station, flanked by two zones:
West Block: A 36-story residential tower (approx. 125 meters tall, 82,000 m² total floor area) with 710 residential units and commercial facilities.
East Block: A 14-story office and public services building (approx. 75 meters tall, 41,400 m² total floor area) that will house the Katsushika Ward Office, retail stores, and public facilities.
The station plaza will cover about 3,410 m², improving transportation flow and disaster resilience by allowing emergency vehicles to move more smoothly through the area.
The entire project is scheduled for completion in fiscal year 2029.
