Uchisaiwaicho Redevelopment District Named ‘HIBIYA CROSSPARK

The developers of the Uchisaiwaicho 1-chome district in Chiyoda, Tokyo, announced that the large-scale redevelopment project will be officially named “HIBIYA CROSSPARK.” Along with the name, they also revealed a logo and a district concept: “Let it be a place where the wind is born.”

The project is a massive mixed-use development with a total floor area of approximately 1.1 million square meters, divided into three zones: North, Central, and South.

• The North Zone will feature a new main building of the Imperial Hotel Tokyo and a high-rise complex with offices, retail, serviced apartments, and residences.

• The Central Zone will include the NTT Hibiya Tower, combining offices, commercial spaces, a hotel, and innovation-support facilities.

• The South Zone will host another large tower with offices, retail, hotel functions, and wellness-oriented facilities.

Construction will be completed in phases, with the South Zone scheduled for completion in fiscal 2028 and the Central Zone in fiscal 2031.

Overall, the project aims to create a dynamic urban hub that fosters interaction, innovation, and new cultural and business flows in central Tokyo.
